save disney st park

hi, I own a beautiful 1/2acre block with historic fishing shack (built 1917), in Crib Point. I have been living here for 24 years and it's now time for me to move elsewhere for personal reasons. Unfortunately, the only 'real' value of my block is for a developer to build units on it. This breaks my heart, the land is part garden with fruit trees (the soil is very fertile), part paddock where I keep 2 goats as lawnmowers.
There is a healthy ecosystem going here, frogs, a good variety of birds (apart from the obvious wattle tree birds, rosellas, galahs, black cockies, white cockies, but also pardelotes, eastern spinebills, etc.) and it would be so sad to see this all disappear.
Ideally I would like to find someone who would be willing to buy this property at over the maket value to save it from development and to enable me to relocate reasonably comfortably.
This is my first blog, I will try and find out how to include pictures of the garden/park..
Thanks for your interest,
Yvette
